Kings’ Valley Medical & Spa Hotel is a 5-star hotel that embodies the luxury and regality of the Thracian kings, the elegance of the Bulgarian rose and the healing powers of the mineral water.

The hotel is located near Kazanlak and is inspired to turn into a remarkable destination on the map of the Bulgarian Balneo and SPA tourism, offering a combination of timeless elegance, stylish design and maximum space and comfort among the picturesque mountain landscape, rich traditions, culture and most of all healing mineral waters.

We are looking for an experienced Spa Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's Medical & Spa Operations, ensuring the highest level of service is delivered to guests at all times.

Core Work Activities:

  • Oversee the entire Medical & Spa Operations, including reception area, aqua zone, thermal zone, and medical area.
  • Ensure and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Establish treatment protocols and service standards for cutting edge Medical and Spa treatments and massage therapies.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels, ensuring guest needs are met and exceeded.
  • Fiscally manage the Medical & Spa facility incl. budgeting, forecasting, yield management, menu management, and retail management.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the Medical and Spa and related areas and equipment.
  • Work closely with the Engineering department to maintain proper mechanical operation of all.
  • Empower employees to provide excellent customer service and strives to improve service performance.
  • Train, motivate, and mentor a team of dedicated professionals, promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction levels and proactively address any concerns or issues to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Handle guest problems and complaints.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competition, identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase revenue and improve guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • BA in one of the following areas of study - Hotel/Hospitality Management, Spa Management, Physiology or other relevant.
  • 3-5 years of Spa/Wellness center management experience, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel or an upscale Spa environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of Spa/Wellness Operations and a thorough understanding of Spa treatments.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
